I purchased this directly from a seller in Russia when it was still winter, but it finally showed up on a 90 degree day, which seems just right, as cool grapes and juicy melon are about the only things that seem appealing at the moment. It is unsigned and the artist not known, but clearly they knew how to paint, and this really jumps right off the wall. Bright and crisp with a coat of varnish over the paint which gives shine to the surface.
15 5/8" w x 11 3/4" t, oil on hardboard and in excellent condition. Mid 20th century or so I believe.
