Royal Copenhagen Baca Series Danish Modern Bird and Fish Design Ashtray by Johanne Gerber

A fabulous ceramic Danish Modern ashtray from back in the day when ashtrays were considered design objects, made to be beautiful...and used inside! Produced by Royal Copenhagen as part of its Baca series in the late 60s/early 70s, this one features a wonderful graphic black and umber bird and fish design by Johanne Gerber. If not as an ashtray, perfect on a desk, dresser, or dinner party table. Especially great paired with this ashtray by Nils Thorsson.
