How not to love this tiny but hugely charming Acoma, New Mexican bird basket? It was obviously made with great care, and then someone equally loving has glued back together the handle of the basket, which was broken at least once. From the bird's face to the quintessentially Acoma decorative painting, I think it's just a wonderful thing, and would make a happy home for a tiny plant or safekeeping a ring or two.
Because of the broken handle, I'm making this one a rescue. Just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to adopt it and let me know what you'd like to pay -- nothing at all is ok, as long as you promise to make a special place for it--and I'll send you a link to complete the adoption!
