Red Velvet Old Handmade Pin Cushion with Stem!

I keep buying pin cushions, even if they aren't a big seller, because there are such a great variety of them out there, which someone took the time to make special, and I really like things that are both sculptural and useful. Plus, how to resist a red velvet one with stem on top? I have to think it was meant to be a tomato of sorts, and it is as large as one, and I found it with these white-headed pins in it, which I think are the perfect punctuation, though would be even better complemented by more!

4 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" deep x 2 7/8" tall. A little wear and pin holes here and there; overall very good condition with stitches holding it together still tight.  There is a tiny hole on the underside, minor.
