A wintery landscape...just in time for spring! I really like this painting, though, and looking at the snow-blanketed farm house makes me appreciate the emergence of green all the more. It's not a finely painted painting, but I find it exactly right--conveying the quiet beauty and also isolation of winter without a brushstroke more than is needed, but with this big yellow rising sun (I assume it is a sun) locating it at a moment in time, and with the prospect of snow melt on the horizon!
12" x 9". Oil on board, unsigned. A little wear around the edges but overall very good condition.
