Another old photo of a photo, this one of a young boxer, which I found it an inexpensive frame I removed it from to find "Vince D'Agostino, Watervilet Boxer" written on the mat behind it. A quick search reveals that D'Agostino did not go on to a very notable career, but did complete 5 bouts, 24 rounds, all in 1934, all in Albany NY, with a KO rate of 40%. I love that the photo was taken of the earlier photo laid against a sheet of what looks like school notebook paper--which seems perfectly in keeping with both the youth of the boxer and his short-lived boxing career.
