This is the second of these c. 1970s Towle Walnut Shell Games I've had in the shop, which I think are great for all sorts of situations, from cocktail parties to serving as a fun alternative to coin tosses or Rock Paper Scissors for settling all sorts of matters. The pewter walnuts themselves are terrific objects, useful as paper weights or just sitting around. The set of three fit in neat little cutouts in the cardboard base of the original blue box, with a dry kidney bean included! A terrific gift for the aspiring magician or most anyone!
The box measures 6" long x 3 1/4" wide x 7/8" thick and each walnut measures 1 5/8"long x 1 3/8" wide x 5/8" tall. Very good vintage condition (I have not attempted to polish the pewter, but it might shine up a bit), with a little tearing to the blue paper on the edges and bottom of the box.
