People for PERK, Large Vintage Presumed Political Pinback

As is surely evident from many of today's listings, much of what I love about Brimfield is digging around for little things that delight me--which are also much easier to throw in my bag and carry around than larger, more "significant" things.  I'd guess PERK was a candidate for office somewhere at some point, but I find this button, original context long lost, excellent as its own thing now--enough gloom and doom, let's have some perk! With a great sort of tie die orange-red ground, too. 

3" in diameter and in good condition. C. 1970s I would guess.
