This old painting fills me with a sense of well being as I imagine those picked peaches just picked and still warm from the sun, and the pitcher filled with fresh cream, maybe from the cow of its painter! Not a masterpiece but pretty charming, and I especially love the peach pit sitting there as testament to the peaches' deliciousness!
Oil on board, framed in just the right old cream-painted wooden frame, where it has probably lived since it was made. Painting apron 10"x14"; framed 12" x 16". A few dings to the surface of the painting here and there, and some paint loss on the frame. There is an old wire on the back for hanging.
