Painted Wooden Model Airplane Wings with Stars

These old hand-painted wooden model airplane wings were just too lovely to leave behind at a recent estate sale (found in the basement, in one of many boxes of old tools and odds and ends.) It would be great to see them incorporated into a new model plane, or put to some other creative use; with these carved and painted stars against orange grounds, they are just beautiful!

Each wing measures 5 3/8" long x 2 1/4" across x 1/8" thick. Sold as a pair. The  paint has probably darkened a bit with age but they're in great shape, no splits, cracks, or notable dings.
