Orchids and Other Hothouse Plants, Lovely Early 20th C. Real Photo Postcard

I love old photos (especially rppcs) that functioned as documents of things rather than people or events, perhaps ones of plants and trees most of all, and I think this is quite a marvelous image in its sharpness and lushness, with three different potted varieties of orchid captured front and center.  One of two found together—“laurel and ferns” listed separately, I assume taken on a visit to an arboretum long ago.

3 7/16 x 5 1/2 and in very good condition. The clarity and detail of this image is pretty spectacular. British, early 20th c.
