This beautifully woven, heavy-weight serape, featuring a pattern of orange, green and yellow stripes, is stunning in its simplicity, in perfect condition, and, at 59”x80,” not including fringe, would work wonderfully as a bedspread, a rug, or a throw. It is made of a cotton warp (revealed as the red fringe at either end) and wool weft.
I purchased the piece at an wonderful estate sale that included a number of fine woven textiles as well as an eclectic collection of notable modern and contemporary art and design objects from around the world.
