This sweet small Wabanaki (likely Penobscot) Northeast Coast Native American basket holds a glass cup, which I think is most useful for the fact that it has helped it hold its shape very well. Made of ash splint and woven sweetgrass, this one has a fair amount of age and a nice patina. Handy for holding some little things or just to add to the basket collection.
A tiny bit of breakage to the red dyed splints at the very center of the lid (I have yet to find one of these where that is not the case) but overall great condition. 3" t x 2 3/8" in diameter.
