I'd guess this set dates to sometime between the 1920s and 40s, and includes a complete set of letters, A-Z (all capitals), a complete set of numbers, 0-9, as well as two pointing hands, a few decorative borders, a star, a dollar and a cent sign, and a 1/2 stamp, all housed in their original slide top box, with the lid showing some old stamping on both sides. With a great bold serif font on the large letters and easy to grasp wooden handles on all, these represent a world of of possibilities to me, but whether or not one ever puts them to use, I personally find them very satisfying just to look at!
Box measures 15 1/4" x 4 7/8" x 7/8". These were obviously used, and the stamps could use some wiping clean before using again, but all seem in generally good condition. The box is in overall good contition too, with a little loss to one jointed corner, but holding together fine.
