I've got a weakness for old toy boats of all sorts, and was happy to find two this week, both wonderfully primitive. This wooden one I love for being just what it is and needs to be- just three pieces of wood and a whole bunch of nails, but which manage to form a vivid thing, which in some child's imagination surely embarked on all sorts of sea adventures. Nice warm patina, and very sweet.
11 7/8” x 1 5/8” x 3 1/2’ t and in good condition, with a bit of bending to a couple of nails, which could be how they always were.
