I find everything about this sign 100% PERFECT. And, with social distance now the norm, it feels timely and poignant--communicating the directive to keep a distance, but doing it in such a completely tender, human/e, intimate way. I know that this sign was salvaged from a factory in Indianapolis prior to demolition, where clearly it hung for many many years, with an early incarnation of the lettering still visible under the current hand-painted version, which itself is scraped and worn away to perfection. So good.
