It rather surprised me to turn this drawing over to find that it was done by a Mel Crabtree at the age of 38, or at least that is how I read it--which makes me think perhaps the drawing was done to commemorate the construction of this barn, though I don't know for sure. In any case, quite a sweet barn, and a sweet drawing, with every beam and shingle and latch attended to, and nary an inch of paper wasted.
5 11/16" x 3 3/4. Very good antique condition, crisp and clear, with some toning spots here and there, late 19th/early 20th c I believe.
