Mystical Looking Young Woman in Black Dress with Cross, Curls, and Heart-like Butterflies

I think she's quite a beauty, and seems to me very much as if in touch with the world of the spirits! With a large cross on her chest and black ribbon around her neck and what first appears to be a pattern of white hearts on her fabulous black dress, but zooming in I think they may be butterflies. Striking portrait, fantastic presence. C. 1870s I believe.

 3 3/4" x 2 3/8". Tintype with pink on her cheeks. Some general light surface scratching, I don't think at all detracting here.
