Morse Museum, Warren NH Real Photo Postcard c. 1930s

Regular price $12.00

The Morse Museum seems to have been quite a place, founded by the Morse family in 1928, who traveled around the world shooting animals and buying strange artifacts of many sorts, and bringing them back to the tiny town of Warren, NH to display in their small but jam packed free museum. There is a long entry about the museum at RoadsideAmerica.com, and in 2004 grandson Robert Warren Morse published a book telling the story of the family museum, which operated until 1992. I believe this RPPC dates to the 1930s, not long after it opened to the public, and features a view of the main gallery that gives a good sense of it!

5 7/16" x 3 7/16" and in excellent condition, unused back.
