SOLD Mid Century Watercolor Abstraction with Figures, Buildings and Giant Moon

I don't know the artist behind this unsigned painting on paper--looks like a mix of ink and watercolor/gouache and graphite in a few spots; I just immediately loved it and grabbed it and brought it home. Definitely some influence of Paul Klee to be gleaned, coupled with some sense of social isolation/urban loneliness, with one figure at bottom left corner, and the head of another gazing onto the scene from the right edge of the painting, both seeming unsure of their place amidst these abstracted buildings. With what I take for a giant bright yellow full moon shining over them all.

13" x 9 1/4" framed, under glass, as found. Painting appears to be mounted to the mat but I have not opened the frame. All in very good condition, with color very rich and lush; I would hang it just as it is.
