Perhaps a (well done) shop class project, or perhaps an artist’s creation (it does have a bit of a Tiki party feel tool, though I'm pretty certain mid century American)--whatever the case, I think a pretty great face! It will stand up on its own or could be hung with the addition of a simple hanger to the back. Made of pine I believe and stained/varnished on the face of it. I love the tapering from forehead to chin, and the widening of the triangular nose in the opposite direction, and the stoic straight line of a mouth, and there is even a knot in the wood to suggest one eye!
