The challenge with this wonderful house is deciding which side to face front; there are strong arguments in all directions! With a slot cut under one arching window on one of the short sides, my guess is that a father or grandfather made this one as a coin bank for a child, though with no floor I'd guess the money inserted didn't stay there for long! Clearly tons of love was put into this, with wooden frames around each silver-painted window, entrances on either side, and hand-painted brick pattern around the base and for the two chimneys, which over the past 100 years or more had alligatored brilliantly. Super.
7 3/8" w x 7 1/4" d x 5 1/2" t and in very good, super solid and sturdy condition. There is a bit of paint loss and what looks like probably one missing strut on the awning but it is sturdy as is.
