This is for certain my favorite tramp art box I've had, which photos can't do justice, as it needs to be felt as much as seen, just dripping with character, and love, and presence. Two hearts on front, two hearts on back, one heart on each short side, and two more on top. Plus brass lion heads holding rings, old iron nails all over, bits of printed text on the cigar box wood here and there, wall paper lining, and a Superiore cigar box label portrait on the underside of the lid. And just a marvelous patina accrued over a century and a quarter of so I believe, softening the chip carved edges and making the whole thing feel very warm and very special. Total love.
10 3/4" w x 7 1/4" t x 6 3/4" and not missing a single bit that I can see. The lid is well attached (but be a bit gentle with it), and sits flush, locking into place (the lock is disabled.) It sits straight and sturdy on feet made of stacked chip carved layers. Some all over wear, completely to the good. No issues, just great.
