This is one of a bunch of drawings by a D.B Webber of Concord, New Hampshire that I found together in a plastic sleeve digging through the files of a favorite antiquarian bookseller in Maine, all dated 1907--and it really made my day to find them, just my sorts of drawings, and of the sort it feels harder and harder to find. I haven't managed to definitively identify their maker, but there are plenty of records for Webbers in Concord and nearby. I think these pretty much speak for themselves--and of a lively mind, and eye, and hand, for sure. Lots of great little moments within the large scene here.
9" x 5 1/2", good condition, ink and graphite on lined paper.
