I love an old pie crimper, and the super clean, elegant lines of the handle on this one, carved of cherry I believe, completely sold me on it. Based on the form I might guess earlier than later 19th c. With a carved horn wheel.
5 1/8” l. 5/8” wide and deep handle. 1 1/2” wheel. Very good condition, with a couple of tiny holes in the horn along the perimeter of the wheel, which does not impact smooth rolling. The wood is gorgeous.
