The title at the top right of this earlyish 20th century handmade postcard suggests that there were at least three other dog-man iterations, which makes me wonder about the other scenarios! I'd think the long coat in this one is about to be closed in order to make it look like the boy has a dog head, with just the bottom of his stamp-collaged shorts and ink-drawn shoes peeking out below. I especially love this little bit of reddish stamp giving the hat of the boy at right a little pompom. Very French!
3 1/2" x 5 1/2". A little darkening to the card around the collaged parts, surely glue stains. Otherwise, very good condition, with an unused back.
