Laurel and Ferns, Lovely Early 20th C. Real Photo Postcard

I love old photos that documented things rather than people or events, perhaps plants and trees most of all, and I think this is just lovely, all the more so for the carefully handwritten "laurel and ferns” along the bottom margin. One of two found together—“orchids and other hothouse plants” listed separately, I imagine both taken on a long ago visit to an arboretum.

5 3/8 x 3 1/2 and in very good condition. Unused back. I set it on edge to photograph it, which is why it looks a bit skewed. I believe early 20th c. British.
