Late 1890s, and I believe the title of this flip book was most likely The Fight - Finish, Story Without Words, published by Gies and Co. in 1897. Once there would have been a cover; and perhaps there was one first page lost, but other than some wear and creasing to the first image, the rest is in good shape with no additional pages lost or damage. And there are by my count 74 images here, making for quite a nice progression of action in the ring! I wan't very adept at flipping with one hand and holding my camera in the other, but I think you get a sense. I love an old flip book, and none better than an early one capturing a boxing match I'd say.
2 3/16" x 1 5/8" x 11/16". 74 pages by my count. Wear and loss of cover and maybe first page, as pictured and described above. Otherwise in good shape, well flipped but pages clean and without losses.
