I'm not habitually drawn to Adirondack folk art twig furniture, but I am really in love with this tabletop chair, which has a terrific elegance--perfect proportions and graceful lines and excellent interplay of straight lines and curves, feeling very much like a line drawing in space. Plus small nicks carved into the wood all over, animating the surface in just the right way. I would treat this as pure sculpture and put it on a pedestal!
16" t x 9" w x 6" d. Very good condition, sound and sturdy. Earlyish 20th c I believe, with some nice crustiness to the surface.
