Large Black Vase With Drippy Banded Glaze

Presumed mid-century, this striking large black vase is unmarked, but with its bold form and drippy, acid-colored banded glaze, certainly bears a strong resemblance to West German pieces of the fat lava era. With a commanding presence, it would be great at the center of the dinner table or on a mid-century modern credenza.

8ʺ diameter at widest × 10ʺ tall; overall excellent condition, with just the very tiniest of tiny chips on the lip, documented in the photos.
