I really love this little girl, in purple dress with feathered hat, holding a paint brush in one hand and can of what one certainly assumes is Lacqueret in the other! What an outfit to apply varnish in! "Class 1905" printed in red along the bottom edge marks the year, and the paper on the back of the button offers more about the company: "Lacqueret Makes Old Furniture, Floors And Woodwork Look Like New. Standard Varnish Works, New York." Pretty great.
