Knee Deep, Existential Feeling Snapshot of Man Shoveling Snow, c 1920s-30s

Something absurdist and also pretty existential feeling about this one--a lone man out there digging away in a vast field of snow, and it looks to me like confronting his own shadow. I can't really see any evidence of an already shoveled path in any direction, so seems like he's just started, out there in the middle, seeming a world away from the city.

 3 9/16" x 2 1'2" and in good condition.
