That face! Everything about this homely monkey hand puppet seems just to cry out "love me!," and the fact that he seems to have had a pretty rough life pulls at my heart strings even more.
I believe his head is made of plaster, which has some small chips in it, and from which some of the brown paint has worn off. His body is sewn of flannel, with a few spots and stains and one loose seam at the neck, but very soft and still holding together everywhere else. The best thing is sticking your hand inside and animating him: I think one could use him to ask anyone for anything and they would feel compelled to say yes, as he makes the about the most sympathetic figure ever!
Overall dimensions: 7 1/2" tall x 8" wide when spread. Head measures 1 3/4" wide x 2" tall x 1 5/8" deep.
