I've developed quite a fondness for wall pockets -- beautiful things to hang on the wall that are also super functional. This one, Japanese and dating from the 20s or 30s, is a really striking rich orange with hand-painted giant yellow lily and graphic black leaves. I'd love to see it filled with white lilies but think it would also be great as a planter for something green.
It is in excellent condition and measures 8 3/8" tall x 4" across x 2" deep and has a hole in the back for hanging.
