Not very often do I come across an Inuit carving with tusks still in tact, and I love the simplicity and small scale of this one, portraying the head of a walrus. Especially nice for the vein in the the stone that runs across one side of the head like a stripe. One ding to the stone around the left tusk, visible really only when holding it up front facing; displays very nicely.
2 3/8 x 2 1/8 w x 2 7/8 d including tusks. Overall good condition, with small loss around left tusk as noted and documented.
