My photos don't really capture the spirit of this Inuit bird, which for me is all about the torque of the head, giving it a sense of movement and also, I think, a sense of curiosity. To me it feels quite animated, as if watching, listening and intuiting all at once.
5 1/4” l x 1 5/8” w x 2 3/4” t, with syllabic signature and disc number on the underside, plus original authentication sticker. Very good vintage condition with irregularities indigenous to the stone.
