Inge-Lise Koefoed Tall Tenera Royal Copenhagen 1967 Faience Vase

Regular price $275.00

This is a stunning mid-century modern faience vase designed by Inge-Lise Koefoed for Royal Copenhagen as part of their Tenera line designed solely by female Scandinavian designers in the late 1950s-1960s. It features hand-painted eyes in two different patterns executed in rich blue and purple against bright white on front and back. Model 148/2740 (design 148 on shape 2740), the vase is  stamped and signed on the underside, and also retains its original sale sticker indicating it was purchased at WM. Bluck in Bermuda.

This vase is in very good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks whatsoever. There are a few irregularities to the glazing, original to the piece I believe. The bottom of the vase shows some darkening around the rim from use and wear. It measures approximately 11" tall x 6 3/4" wide x 4" deep.
