Ikebana Arrangement in Celadon Vase, Pristine and Moody 1966 Kodak Color Print

I tried hard to the get the color on this photo as close to actual as possible, but still my photos don't quite do it justice. And I don't quite have the words to describe why I find it complete perfection, but I do!  On one hand it's a sort of deadpan image of an ikebana arrangement (one might imagine one a series of them) set in the most neutral context possible, but the lighting lends a moody drama to it, and there's a complexity to the taupe-gray, and the whole thing for me at least  evinces a swirl of Mapplethorpe and Warhol and Mr. Chow's etc etc. (It appears the Kodak color print is dated Sept. 1966, but feels very late 70s Disco era to me.) In pristine condition, which is important, as the crisp lushness of the square format color print is integral to it feeling rather iconic.
