Ice Pick with Wooden Handle

I'm finding it very difficult to resist scooping up old tools with wonderfully worn wooden handles, and this is about the most beautiful I've ever seen! I believe it is an icepick, and certainly could be used as such--and I must say it makes a very strong argument for the return of buying blocks of ice and chipping ice by hand. If not to be used that way, it could be kept on the desk just to be picked up now and then as it feels great to hold, and if frustration strikes one could stab a safe surface with it to take out that frustration!

6 1/4" long x 1 1/8" wide x 3/4" deep and in great structural condition with a terrific patina of wear.
