I've become kind of obsessed with this button, which through very simple means manages to invoke many many things at one. Immediately it made me think the “I Am A Man” protest signs from the Civil Rights era--and here, without a noun, it could stand as a demand for equality, dignity, and respect for each and all. Simultaneously, the letters spell "AIM," evincing aspiration but also suggesting a direct pointing at a target. And, with the cream colored oval shape suggesting an egg, one might perceive an animal rights (chicken rights?) message too! I have no idea who made it or what specifically for, but I think it's pretty brilliant.
2 3/4 x 1 3/4 and in very good vintage condition.
