This pair is heavy enough to hold up even the heaviest row of art books--or perhaps ideally a bunch of tomes about self sufficiency, i.e. how to build a log cabin and the like! The "logs" are made of iron and hollow inside, and the axes I believe made of steel and welded onto the bases. They appear to have a good amount of age, and would be equally great just treated as tabletop sculptures, perhaps one to gift and one to keep for oneself!
Each "log" measures 2 7/8" in diameter. The one at left in first photo measures 8 1/8" tall; the other 10 7/8" tall including handle of the axe. Very good condition, with perfect amount of rust. Sold as a pair.
