I think this pair of wooden tabletop frames are just the right mix of elegant and crafty--not over the top, but still with the hand and sensibility of the maker wonderfully present. Made of three different types of wood, they're in very good shape, just missing glass panes, which for a few dollars could easily be cut to fit into their 3x4.5" openings...and there are still a couple of nails on the back side to help hold them in place. Perfect for displaying portraits of one's favorite relatives or pets...or giving pride of place to any photo at all! Really striking!
Each frame measures 6" tall x 7 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" deep. There are minor dings and light wear to the wood consistent with age (I would guess these were made in the 40s or 50s), which I don't think detract. Each accommodates a photos of up to 3" x 4.5"
