I've seen a close match of this child's cup described as Staffordshire, but I'm not totally sure; certainly it is antique English, with hand-painted decoration for the skirts of the dancing girls, flowers, leaves and grass, in addition to darker green transfer. And as is typically the case, the transfer is not perfect, with a bit of a smear between the face and raised hand of one girl, which makes it appear as if she is trying to see through a cloud of fog, which I quite like!
3" tall x 2 7/8" in diameter; 4" across at handle. There are a couple of fleabites on the rim but otherwise very good condition, with transfer smears here and there original to the piece.
