Really a wonderful ink drawing on this antique postcard, made even better by the caption--"Walker: Yes Madam both chairs are comfortable"--which shifts attention toward the two decidedly uncomfortable looking little chairs at her left! I'd love to know the backstory, but one of the reasons I love these old postcards so much is for their elusiveness 100+ years later. And the rendering of the figures on this one, perhaps especially the little woman behind the desk, is just great!
