Hand-carved Old Wooden Donut Turner

When I purchased this piece, it was tagged as a donut turner; I'd never seen one before,  but indeed it looks like it be great for dipping donuts in a frier. I love it just an object, with this long, beautfully arching arm and wonderful bulb-like form carved at the end of the strait handle. It's definitely been used for something, as the wood on the arm is darker and smooth--really beautiful--I'd guess from dipping in grease. Use it as pointer, or a donut turner yet, or just hang it on the wall!

12 1/2" l x 3/4" widest x 1/2" deep. One tiny split in the wood on one side at the tip of the handle, no real matter.
