This lovely art nouveau style free hand “hearts and vines” iridescent glass vessel reminds me of the miraculous capacities of blown glass—what a tiny wonder! I believe this piece was intended as a perfume bottle but, now missing its original stopper, it would make a very sweet vase for one small bloom. The hearts and threads or “vines” connecting them are an icy white, set against the iridescent body which shows shades of green, blue, purple, orange and yellow.
I have not found a signature on this piece so am unsure of its maker. It is in excellent condition and measures 4 1/8” tall x 2 1/2” wide; 1 1/4” across at lip and at base.
