Hallowe'en 1901. This is an original paper print photo still mounted to a page of an antique photo album, with two more photos, including a cyanotype of "Bishop Miles" on reverse. I love it this way, with the hand-written caption preserved, and really love this dense pile up of nearly two dozen young women in various costumes, carved pumpkin front and center. Full of life.
Mounting paper 9 5/8" x 6 7/8". Photo itself 3 1/2" x 3 1/2". A few tears along the top of the white paper, which is a bit brittle but not fragile.
