One of my favorites of the week, found at eclectic treasure trove in New Hampshire. So many reasons why I think this is good and resonant, formal and metaphorical, and what's hotter than than bananas? I can't find it's likeness, but presume it was produced for grocery store display, a PSA of sorts! 1970s-80s I'd guess, on cardboard, with really excellent color, especially that blue ground.
25 5/8" x 18". Overall good vintage condition, with wear and a few small surface losses around the edges, and general light surface wear otherwise, as documented. Just very minor warping, lies pretty much flat and would lie flat if pinned/mounted in a frame (which I'd be inclined to do, though one could also easily pin it straight to the wall.)
