Great Old Handmade 24 Inch Double Sided Ruler with Brass Ends

I’m always on the hunt for old handmade measuring sticks of various sorts, and happily have been turning some up lately. This is a 24 inch ruler, marked on both sides, with the measurements running in opposite directions. Hand-pressed numbers, brass wrapped ends, and nicely gridded double lines at top and bottom of each side marking half and quarter inches. Plus a hole for hanging. Lovely.

24 x 1 3/8 x 3/16 and in very good condition with a great patina of use. Late 19th/early 20th c. I would think.
