Top my eye this is a spectacularly beautiful thing, and also a magical feeling one, made of individually carved pieces that interlock just so, with no glue used to held them together. It makes a wonderful soft rattle when held and gently shaken, a bit like a drift wood wind chime knocking in the breeze. It is a very old one, 19th c. I am sure, with a phenomenal patina to the dry pine. Not a missing piece and really stunning.
Approx 5 5/8” cubed. Small losses to the rounded tips of a couple of pieces, as documented, which I don’t think detract at all. Structurally quite sound and stable
